Roy Norris - A Sense of Regret

I don't believe that Serial Killer crimes are a new phenomena,
as numerous sensational and inaccurate books, articles and web-sites contend.
But rather, that such crimes have been occuring throughout history. The only new
phenomena, is the creative license that authors and reporters use to 'hook' the
interests of their readers and viewers...for their own agendas, the almighty
dollar. Even the interests ofthe populace for heinous details of grizzly crimes,
isn't new. Citizens stood in lines down and around the block to get into the
courtroom for Larry's trial...and people invariably slow down to see fires and
car wrecks everyday. Our world thrives on violence, sex and greed!!
Personally, my involvement in our crimes - has proven to be the worst and most
humiliating decisions...in a life of miserable decisions and choices. I am
haunted continuously by my memories and the agony I had a hand in subjecting on
countless family and friends of our victims...not to mention my own family and
'one-time' friends. The few persons that I can now claim as friends, have become
friends after the mid 1990's.
If I could be granted just one wish, I'd wish to have been killed in Vietnam.
That way, my name would have been remembered by family and friends...with some
degree of honor. And I'd not be about to rue the 21st year of our responsibility
for the death of our second innocent victim, in four days.
